Ann Curry
Ann Curry, an American photographer and journalist who has covered the natural and military disasters of more than 45 years. She focuses on the suffering of those living in these regions. Curry reported on conflicts in Kosovo Iraq Syria Lebanon Palestine Afghanistan Darfur Congo, and Central African Republic. Ann Curry, (born November 19th 1956, Agana American journalist, television anchor and news reporter. She was most well-known for her job as a reporter on the Today program, which was a morning news program that was broadcast through the National Broadcasting Co. (NBC). Curry is the daughter of an U.S. Navy sailor and a Japanese woman. Curry met her mother when she was living with her father in Japan after World War II. Because of her father's military service her family has moved quite a lot. Curry was able to complete her high schooling in Ashland Oregon. In 1978, she graduated at in the University of Oregon with a bachelor's degree in journalism. Her exposure to different cultures and the experiences she had during her growing up probably influenced her way of communicating on global issues.
